THE problem i have with the mexican truck pilot program is this we have no way to mack shur that the driver is who he says he is if he is stoped in the usa by a police officer we cant do a back ground check also it would be a great way for a terrorist to cum in to the usa have we forgotten 9/11 19 nof the hijackers were from SAUDI AND they were are friends if we do have a nother 9/11 and a mexican truck is the delivery method dont plame me and i dont want to here well we tride

This is all about NAFTA and Mary Peters turning a blind eye to what her own Inspector Generals have said. The only one allowing this to happen is Mary Peters and her boss, King George W. Yet, stand by, we are doing what we can to get her sacked!

You’re absolutely right. We can’t find records of one in five Mexican drivers in Mexico’s own database. And according to the Transportation Department’s own inspector general, five states said they aren’t prepared to enforce U.S. safety rules under the program. When Mary Peters says Mexican trucks have to meet higher safety standards than U.S. trucks and that the pilot program is lawful, she is not telling the truth.

Mary Scum Peters has turned Homeland Security into a big joke. Why bother with Homeland Security, since she is willing to let anyone & anything into the United States jeopardizing every American life! She is scum!

This issue is not only about unsafe truks. I agree that unsafe trucks do not belong on our highways. Mary Peters is an unelected government offical who is defying the will of our elected representatives. This is just another example of the executive branch of our government acting in a unitary manner. What she did stands for everything the founders of our nation opposed.

This is very unbeliveable as a School Bus driver I am on the road every day transporting “Our Nations Most Precious Cargo” and every time I see a Truck I have to think is this an American truck who follows the same DOT rules I have too or is this an illegal mexican truck whos mechanical limits are probably maxed out and the driver probably hasnt slept in days and am I and the children others trust me to get safely to school safe? Mary Peters should serve ALOT of time in prison for breaking a law that makes our nations roads so un safe AT LEAST THINK ABOUT THE INOCENT CHILDRENS LIVES YOU ARE PUTTING IN DANGER MARY PETERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just a way that the Bush administration is trying to wreck good paying AMERICAN jobs . The trasportation secretary MARY PETERS is just following king George W . Bush command . He is only out for one thing corperate greed , and just sticking it to the working persons family ! No cares for american safety , highways , health care , and education .

I’d like to know why Mary Peter’s allows spraying of chemicals while my home town of New York City has a no spraying coalition that reenforces the public safety which protects the citizens? How would Mary Peters like her children or grandchildren to be sprayed down with chemical/ pesticide agents? I’m not too fond of the way the Arizona Government runs the state. They allow ADOT to freely conduct chemical spraying out there on the roadways without placing signs to foreworn the general public of the risks to their health and well being.
